What an amazing little gem! The atmosphere was such a throw back. The menu was great and the prices were so reasonable. It literally hit all of the stars for me. They have this cute little antique stove set up as a coffee station. It's adorable because the regulars come in, grab a cup, fill it up, and take a seat. I ate biscuits and gravy. The biscuit size was amazing. Coming from the north I can definitely say everything's bigger in Texas.

Finally, a place that cooks your eggs the way you request them and knows how to cook sausage. Unlike the many chains that I have frequented. The eggs and sausage were cooked to perfection, and I decided to try a pancake along with it because I was thinking that it would be the size of chain restaurants. This pancake was triple the size that I expected and was cooked perfectly. I was very surprised with the size of it as Many of the chains will give you one small pancake, and actually three pancakes from the food chains were the size of just this one. Very reasonably priced for the food you get, go with an appetite. You will not be let down.

Had breakfast at North 40 Settlers and was not disappointed! Ordered the hotcakes, eggs, hash browns, and sausage—everything was cooked perfectly. The hotcakes were fluffy and just the right amount of sweet, the eggs were made just how I like them, and the hash browns had that perfect crispy texture. The sausage was flavorful and a great complement to the meal. Service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. The staff made sure everything was just right, which added to the great experience. Definitely a solid spot for a good breakfast in Pampa. Highly recommend!

I seldom leave a review but this time I have too. This place was exceptional, a real hometown, gem! The service was friendly and quick, and the food was very good. Lots of locals eat here and they are recognized by name by the staff. My understanding is that this restaurant has been operated by 3 generations of the same family. Do yourself a favor and stop for a bite here!

I was hoping for that small town diner where six old farmers looked at me oddly when I walked in. I almost got that. Just no grumpy old men. Waitress was very nice. I got the "mess." It was good. I got the biscuit to go with it. Biscuit was great and very big. Even though I was already stuffed, I had to get a pancake because I don't think you can rate a place like this without trying a pancake. That was also very good. Nice and fluffy and a big size. The only thing I would have liked better is if the "hot sauce" that comes with the mess was hotter. This was more of a salsa. It was good, but I would have liked something a little spicier. Not enough to get me to move from 5 stars to 4. Overall, I think this is a great value for the amount of money you spend vs. the amount and quality of food. I would definitely come here again.
